John Lent was appointed Associate Vice President & Controller in May 2024. In this role, he is responsible for leadership and oversight of the accounting, tax, and payroll functions, with a particular focus on compliance and strategic expansion. Lent is an accounting professional with over 12 years of experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), specializing in serving higher education clients. Throughout his tenure at PwC, Lent developed exceptional capabilities in auditing, compliance, and financial reporting for colleges and universities. He graduated magna cum laude from Wake Forest University with a bachelor's in finance, as well as a master's in accounting, and is a certified public accountant in Massachusetts.
