Apply for and use an AMEX (NUCard)
If you travel or purchase goods and services on Northeastern’s behalf, you should apply for the Northeastern AMEX card, also called the NUCard. The Northeastern AMEX is an efficient way to make purchases less than $5,000.
FAQ

Call AMEX at 1.800.528.2122. In addition, please contact Tabitha Yuen at t.yuen@northeastern.edu to inform her of the situation.
If AMEX provides you with a new card, you must email Tabitha Yuen at t.yuen@northeastern.edu an AMEX Cardholder Agreement—for Staff or the AMEX Cardholder Agreement—for Faculty and PIs with information related to the new AMEX. Your card will not be activated until you do so.

Card limits refresh around the 6th of every month.
-
Are you switching job positions within the university but need to keep your AMEX Card?
You can keep your corporate card if it is needed in your new role, but we will need your new supervisor to send an email approval to Tabitha Yuen at t.yuen@northeastern.edu, before your current job is terminated, otherwise, it may be cancelled.
-
What if you don’t need your AMEX card anymore?
If for any reason you don’t need your AMEX card in your role anymore, you must email Tabitha Yuen at t.yuen@northeastern.edu to have your card cancelled. It’s recommended that cards not in use be cancelled in order to avoid fraudulent charges.
